Elif Cepni is a professor of economics and decision making and currently she is the Vice Rector of Karabuk University. She is a UNESCO Chair holder on Anticipation Studies, Futures Literacy and Strategic Foresight. Formerly she acted as the Rector of Dogus University and Vice Rector of Bahcesehir University. She is the author of A Guide for Economic and Financial Indicators, as well as The Economy of Turkey in Retrospect and Let’s Get Developed. In addition to her writing, she has also taught courses ranging from “Financial Literacy, “Macroeconomics” to “Development Economics” and “Scenario Planning and Strategic Foresight”.
