Reiners, Suleika

Suleika Reiners is working on financial markets which are meaningful in real economic terms. Before joining the World Future Council, she supported the work of two members of parliament in the German Bundestag – at the peak of the international financial and economic crisis.

Her work areas include financial regulation and monetary policy. Among her expertise are safety tests for financial instruments, debt brakes for the financial sector and central banking roles for the real economy.

She selects and develops ideas from academia and transforms them into policy proposals. She also communicates financial issues in a way that is accessible to a broader public.
