Federica Donati was born on the 25th of April 1990, in the Tuscan town of Grosseto, Italy, where she completed her high-school career with a diploma in Social Sciences. In 2009, she moved to Siena to study Law at Siena University and graduated in 2016 with a final dissertation in International Criminal Law entitled: "The Fight against the Financing of International Terrorism: Problems and Perspectives". After graduation, her desire to improve her knowledge of the English language prompted a move to the UK. In order to deepen her understanding of Public International Law, she took a master’s degree course in International Law at Middlesex University, London, completed in November 2019. She concluded an internship at the Italian Federation for Human Rights (FIDU) in June 2020 and her experience there nourished her desire to add her contribution to the promotion and protection of human rights. She became President of the FIDU Committee in Grosseto in August 2020. She also works as an analyst for the Global Committee for the Rule of Law "Marco Pannella" and a contributing writer of Caffè Geopolitico. She is a partner of Youth Leadership Network since August 2020. "Be the change that you wish to see in the world" is her motto for life.
